Sweet Escape

What I wore:

Top, Old Navy; Skirt, Tomato

Bracelets, Process Chain
Flats, Rubi by Cotton On

Had enough with pants and shorts lately, so I came to a thought of wearing skirt on just a fine day. Pulled-off this care-free ensemble to enjoy the summer atmosphere. Thank you for the legal holiday last Wednesday which gave me the chance to realize that life is not all about your money in the bank but how to spend life meaningfully, in a freeway.

Chasing Summer

What I wore:
Top, Forever21; Skorts, Thrifted
Bracelets, Process Chain; Footwear, Michaela

Just a quick post to share what I wore last weekend when me and my sister, as usual, went strolling to exploit the weekend. Opted to wear this colorful bottom and settled to match my ensemble with this jelly-like footwear to feel the summer, though we haven't tasted any beach and some sort outside. Haha! I also love my new hair this season, yay or nay? By the way, special thanks to Process Chain for my arm accessories which really spiced up my #ootd!

First of Summer

Another weekend was spent in Tagaytay. Summer is already felt here so on the first week of March , we decided to roam around there to satisfy our craving for fresh air.
Such a stress-free day to breathe-in nothing but pristine atmosphere. I'm with Ate Charyl, Ate bea and my Kuya who really hates picture-taking. Hahaha!
These over-looking views were just some of the amusements in Tagaytay that really gave us heaven feels!
What I wore:

Top, Thrifted; Skater Skirt, Forever21; Bag, Tommy Hilfiger (Ate Bea's); Shoes, Aldo; Watch, Tomato; Necklace, Gift from Ate Charyl; Sunnies, WAGW
Such places as Tagaytay could be perfect for those who need to relax and have a break from toxicity of work. This can also be an alternative for the Sun, Sand and the Sea this coming Summer Vacation! Wishing us all for a great summer ahead!

Thank you for reading The Vogue Tales! 'til my next post!

PS. I'll be marching on our Graduation Ceremony on the 22nd of the month. Thank you for the all the love and support. This is success!

Lots of Love,

Basking Hearts

Been seeing symbols of love around lately in celebration with the Valentine's day. Indeed, it is the most romantic day for couples out there to celebrate love with each other. But mind you, Valentine's day aren't just for couples but for everyone as well.

And since me and my sister were both occupied on that special day, we chose to reschedule it for us to celerate our love with each other. So much with flowers and sweets, we decided to bask and roam just around Intramuros (Manila).
So serene is the place that peace can really be felt. Undoubtfully, we really had a great time together.
What I wore:

Ombre Top, Thrifted; Shorts, Online
Watch, Vasanova; Bracelet, gift from a friend; Bag, Zara; Wedged Topsiders, On your feet
If I will be asked hat really Valentine's Day is for me, I would say that it's simply happiness brought by the world-turner, LOVE. I guess one might be suffering from a disorder if one could not feel love at all and doesn't even bother himself to celebrate one of the great days of the year. It is not about the flowers, sweets, dates, but it how we express our love to one another. I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine's Day 21414. I know this one's kinda late but Happy Valentine, still.   Thanks for reading The Vogue Tales
Spread love!

PS. Thanks for the flowers and chocolate I received  from my beloved. ❤

The New Hood

I lately got so addicted with the song 23. After some time suffering from LSS, the beat has also affected my mood and for some other reasons, the way I dressed. So I tried adding some sort of a hip-hop thing on what I wore and found this baseball cap that looks so adorable. I tried using it the time when we, my cousins and my sister, fetched my Canadian cousin, who also happened to be my sister from another family.
Just want to highlight this cap which really caught me up holistically. So comfortable was the feeling when I'm with it. No messy hair. Just wore the cap and the rest followed.
Grabbed from Ingstagram
What I wore:

Cap, Forever21; Top, Oxygen; Shorts, Thrifted; Shoes, Online; Watch, Casio

So instead of wearing that typical jacket with the usual hood to put on, do you agree that this cap is now the new hood, YAY OR NAY?

Postcards for the Holidays II

I know this post is so out-of-date (again! Hahaha). Yet i still have to blog about this to share that I just had the best holidays so far with my family.  The photos above were some of the places in my hometown, Albay.
Taken at Kawa-Kawa, Ligao Albay

This is considered by Albayanos as one of the sacred places in town where sacred figures can be found and and it was just named so for having a pan-shaped view at the top of hill. As I've mentioned, it is a hill so, we had to go on a long journey of walking to reach the top. One of the amazing thing I was able to experience there was the ATV, a motorbike used for adventures.
Grabbed from IG taken at Cagsawa, Daraga Albay

This is just one of the famous tourists' spots in Albay featuring the old Cagasawa Church with a perfect view of Mayon Volcano as its background.
A trick taken by one on the guides there. A literal giantic thing, eh? Hahaha
 Grabbed from IG

What I wore:
Hat, Uniqlo; Knitted Outerwear, Jessica Simpson; Top, Thrifted; Shorts, Banana Republic; Footwear, Gap; Watch, Casio

PS. Apology for quite low quality of photos. We just brought a hassle-free camera during the trip to enjoy the experience. :)

'Twas so good to be back home during the holidays and be with the most especial people here on the planet, my family.

Postcards for the Holidays

Forgive me for being so late. My work schedule is just too demanding, the reason that catching up is like "buwis-buhay" for me. And yes, I'm so sorry that i have already abused the holidays. Avail! Hahaha! Just right after I arrived home, I had run to our second house to keep updated with the plans for the vacation.
We ended up travelling almost everywhere here in Bicol. First stop-The Village at  San Bernadino located at Calabanga, Camarines Sur

What I wore:
Tube, H&M; Shorts, Banana Republic; Flip-flop, Ipanema; Summer Hat (from a Bicol Native stall); Watch, Casio
It feels like a complete summer on a December at the village together with my loved ones. Oh, I so love to be home!
I hope you also had a great holiday with love, peace and prosperity!
Wishing you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
And thank you for reading The Vogue Tales. 'til my next post!
